WEEK 12: SUPERVISOR SESSION
10 picture series
Assignment from last supervision: Make a series of 10 pictures with one underlying concept in one week.
And more pictures.
For my project I wanted to add another person. Sticking to the lockdown restrictions, I took these pictures.

Overview
Admittedly, I'm a bit lost at the moment. The amount of pictures is overwhelming and I have a hard time finding a storyline. … running out of functioning ink on my printer doesn't help.

I separated them into two piles: favorites and second favorites. Then went back and forth, over and over again, trying to pick only the best. But also not forgetting any of the rather quiet ones.
I chose these as my favorites:

What do these pictures have in common? What’s the storyline? Why did I take these pictures?
The search for nature in an urban environment. With a focus on the subtle and sometimes overlooked details.
Where urban life and nature intersects. Where nature is not obvious or in focus.
This is what these pictures convey through their visual language: they are subtle and focus on the little things, when all the big stories happen outside of the frame.
