WEEK 3: SUPERVISOR SESSION
Preparation
Proposal is almost done …
I decided to use Harari's “21 lessons for the 21st century” as it seemed a bit more approachable than Max Frisch's Questionnaire.
Conversation
Looking at HOW (different possibilities):
· both use same keywords
· only one knows the keyword and other replies without knowing the keyword
· distance/never met > how will that reflect?
· look at the end of Daniel Palmer’s “Photography and Collaboration”: Relational Portraiture
· evolutionary project
Addendum
Look at Daniel Palmer’s “Corresponding Associations: the Poetics and Limits of Photography as Dialogue”
I read Daniel Palmer's article. He critiques that the dialogue usually happens on the formal level, not on a content level. I would like to try to have a dialogue on a content level but I also think it's a lot more challenging. Replying to Jas' image with a formally similar image would have been very easy. It will be interesting if it's possible to have a dialogue about topics which engages with the audience.
