Chris Barry: »These are very elegant Minimalist images. It’s hard to not respond to our current collective predicament of isolation. The images speak of that isolation but lean towards ‘individualist’ human presence, not of a collective. This is an interesting proposition if you pursue this line. There is a strong spacial element to this work – spatiality. The work also has strong architectural elements to it. I do see a direct relationship to your earlier (travel) images where your compositions were also reduced to the most simple elements, with the same Minimalist, fine, aesthetic.«
